The Injured Crow

Listen from:
My neighbor loves birds, and she seems to be making friends with them in one way or another. This past summer she cared for an injured crow that had a very peculiar voice, not like other crows! Maybe the injury affected his “Caw, Caw”!
Once the crow began to fly again, he seemed to stay in the area, coming back every day for food. However, we did not find his call very pleasant to listen to, and sometimes we found ourselves thinking, We wish that crow with its ugly call would fly away for good!
This reminds us of our ugly sins, doesn't it? Even though we may have asked the Lord Jesus to wash them away with His precious blood, we sometimes do something that is another ugly sin. Then we have to go to God in prayer and tell Him about this sin. When we confess it to Him, He will forgive us, for Jesus has washed all our sins away in His precious blood. We know this for sure because 1 John 1:77But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:7) says, “The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Then skip one verse and the next one says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:99If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)).
