Before reading this, the little verse comes to mind.
With most of you here, please know and it's list.
We know that all things work together for good.
To them that love God and who are the called.
According to his purpose.
God has the perfect in all he does.
There's a purpose in the longest meeting to be held here tonight and those that we've had here together the past three days. This is the last, however, of that change of meeting for which many of you, dear soldiers and I have been concerned. You've been praying about it and the Lord has so graciously granted us a peace together, remind us of the faith of what things all so many things that will be impossible in the little time we have to be able to hear tonight to only just merely refer to them.
Let's think looking in this little company here tonight, little we say well comparatively maybe, but on the other hand.
God sees right down into this room.
He sees every girl, every boy, every mother, every father, young people to young families, and the old folks as well. Not one individual escaped his eyes.
And God looks down upon you with love and compassion. He has tenderly provided a Savior who by the sacrifice of himself once that is a string question forever, so that heaven's door should be thrown open wide to every portion around the face of the earth. Now in this company here, we're well aware of the fact that the majority, if not everyone have really received such a stadium. If not so.
Dear faith of God.
Rejoiced in the past that someday this girl goes to oppose. Not for the great closing of a day of grace, however. But what would be your person? Did it be caught up to be for everything like that? Blessed One? Well, another little thought comes to mind before we read this chapter. We just were singing.

Some guests will be the last.
And then that very mercury would be closed.
Let God speak to your heart to constitute a night here so.
It's him with whom you have to do.
Men can do nothing for you.
But God in love has had got to work all sinning and out of these loving tender hearts inviting you to come and we get that effort not in the 16th chapter Matthew, but in the 11Th that beautiful shepherd called every Sports Center on earth. Herman to me all ye that labor in a heavy laden and I I will give you rest and in another the other little things only custody only trust him.
Only touch him down. What for? Who are his favorite? He will save you. He'll save you friends right now from your custody. So if there's one in this country tonight, have you children or young people or whoever it may be that has never yet closed in with God's awful mercy, do it now.
The door may close tonight.
And you may be the last guest to enter into Field God's house. Well, that isn't what we read here in the 16th chapter of Matthew, but we want to get a few thoughts there at least, and only a few verses.
The whole chapter would be very interesting, but you're having time to take it all in. The whole book would be, for that matter. So it's all one grand old and the Lord Jesus ascending subject of it all. But notice when we read just a few verses in Matthew 16 and beginning at verse 13.
When Jesus came into the coast of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying fundamental.
He asked his disciples, Whom do men say that? I and you know what? He calls himself the Son of Man. And who did they say? Did the Lord know that? Didn't He know without asking him? Sure, I suppose he did. But it is here are the answers and what would happen? What kind of answers would you get or would you give tonight?
If you would wish to the show somebody who Jesus is, what would you say?
What have you found out about it? Well, there's something very interesting here, and it's the Lord himself who's speaking.
Heaven for you, it's God against whom you and I have sinned. It's God who provided a Savior and a Savior. Not just merely, though great as that may be. Not just merely to say that from our sins, No, but to perfectly go for him as to the same question as you walk down here on earth, but particularly when He hung on that equation tree.
Forsaken of God in those hours of dashes that you dear Senator friend, might believe in and never be protected and dear faces of you cannot be forsaken. You cannot Why? Well, we find something out about that perhaps as we can learn and then the way you know the story. But anyway, let's be done. Or they gave the answer then in verse 14 and they said that I said some say without John the Baptist.
And the same face Elias, other Jeremiah, or swarm of the prophets.
Well, we need joy on this. That's people's opinions. And what is it? The opinions of men with nothing? If it's only your opinion and mine is worth nothing. What's the word of God though? That's something that abides forever. Even the Lord himself could say heaven and earth could pass away, but my word.
Will say after us, no far from us. Shall never pass away. Now he goes on to just say something else. And beloved friends, it must have been something for those apostles.
To have to be there with him and here in faith well, after they're given in the sense. But what do you say? Who do you say that I am? But just you can't hear his voice saying that to you. No, but here it is. You can hear through the history.
And without a doubt, God himself, or let's say the Lord Jesus himself tonight.
Would say that each one of you dear souls here in this room, individually, no matter who you are, if you're able to take in any question at all, he would want you to say, answer the question and put it to you. But who do you say that I am? That means you. You. No matter who you are, it means you. What do you say? Well, you notice that Peter gives the answer, and it's again answer that he gives. And so here we have it.

And Simon Peter answered and said, verse 16.
Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Well, well, that's some assumption, isn't it? Have you found that out?
Do you folks here all really know it all? But wait a minute, do you really believe it?
You can't help but know if there's something within you that makes you admit that the truth is found in God's Word is true.
But do you really believe it? To the saving of your own soul and to giving you joy along the way?
As the darkness increases in this wicked world, while His ripen for judgment. Little do we know what we may have to say here that well, Lord, while we're waiting for the Lord's return.
But what's that? What after that? Well then hope to be caught up. Just think, beloved friends, if it should be tonight. So we're here in this room together. All of a sudden, away we go, caught up to be forever with the Lord. What a confusion that would be left in this room.
Would any of you be left?
Dear souls who are friends, if you hear unsaved, would you be less? Yes you will. You'll be left behind. And what would the whole state of California not to say the whole world? What would it mean to you if you could have it all if you lose your soul?
And it could happen tonight.
Who is this word just years old? Have you really taken the Lord Jesus your Savior? If not, do it now right where you sit. Breathe a little tears to the Lord Jesus whispered to him, for he can hear, because he sees the heart better than you, and I can see an open book. But now notice him what the Lord pronounces and the blessings on John Simon and may we not say.
That that takes you into if you have really gotten hold of this pressure.
Well, here it is, Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed art thou, Simon bar Jonah.
Why, what do you, what do you mean by that? Oh, so a flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee.
But my Father, which is in heaven.
Who is speaking that way? Nobody but the Lord Jesus Christ himself, Eternals, Son of the living God.
But because of that, he is hated in the world.
Jesus hated, yeah, right, because he is the Son of God. And yet the Israel, Israel should have known receipt for their Old Testament scriptures pointed forward to the fact that they should have known right where we should be born. But instead of that, they were bitter against them. They stopped to destroy. Well, we can't thrill on all of that now. But you know, even as a babe, they thought they'd kill him and get rid of him because Harold was afraid. When the wise men came and asked, where is he, this born king of the Jews?
O Herod is afraid in the whole country with him and so he made inquiry. He couldn't find out, but there was religious leadership and they told him all about getting best friend Jabir. Well, all right.
You wise when you go and find out where he is and you worship Him, and then you come back to tell me because I want to worship him too.
Did he really wasn't that nice? If he managed it would have been fine, but it was nothing but fals if he wanted to get rid of him. He himself was a king. He wanted to be exhausted and here stole. The world is full of people of that kind tonight. They want to do away with Christ still if they could only do it, but they can't do it. We find that out a little far gone but notice something more here now then then he said that the 12 women full grown left.
If you individually have really found out, fairly condensed within yourself, that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, you have that blessing for your own soul too. And not only that you don't run here, but elsewhere. We learn that we brought into relationship after your sacrifice.
Will suggest his Father is our Father, his God is our God, marvelous God in the beloved sense, and all God's love for you. But now notice what more.

Flesh and blood does not reveal them today, but my Father, which is in heaven.
Doesn't it tell us, beloved friends, the emptiness, the helplessness of man? He can't do a thing about it. Who cares?
Who did it for you if you are thoroughly convinced that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God?
Then there's been a divine working year souls, the Father yes, but how did the peer the father make that known as Simon Caesar. We're not told exactly would be a lot of detail to find out, but there's a divine work and then there is that in your soul. They love it since you've got something that the world and kids and it can't take it away. Your blood injury. It's an exam fraction is eternal. Is a part of the Church of God, of which Christ himself is a head. And elsewhere we also learn members of His body. However, there's something else that follows here. Now, we're not at home yet, you know, we have a home in heaven. The Father's house is prepared for a prepared people. But where are we? We're down here on earth.
All September nurses, all grand people are going to make it better aren't they? Better place to live in are they? Is it getting better?
It's increasingly it's constantly nearing judgment ripening for it is that would you call that getting better? No, and it never will as long as man is left in the hands of man. But God has a man that will put things in order. But now one more thought here. Go on down the little fire, he says. I said 20th percentage. Oh no, at the end of the 18th of 5 minutes.
Upon this rock I will build my church. And now notice.
Their gates of hell.
Shall not prevail against it. Just briefly stating all the powers of darkness can do nothing against that which Price is doing.
They had their opportunity. The Lord Jesus went to the car. Who was forsaken of God in those three hours of darkness?
With the sins of every believer laid upon him.
And his cries my God, my God, flowers of a second me. He was the 2nd dear faith of God, that you might never be forsaken. But notice one thing more now than.
The gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And now give unto thee the keys of the Kingdom of heaven, and whatsoever that bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever thou shalt lose on earth shall be loose in heaven. Then charge thee his disciples, that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
Now please enter the rest of the book of Acts and chapter 5. And in the meantime, let's remember that even in this message of the Gospel by Matthew in the very beginning of it, after that period of 400 silence years, then God speaks in what's called the last day through his son or in the person of his sons. May God manifest his place down here on earth. And Matthew.
The views of the Spirit of God to tell us what was supposed thus before He was born.
Probably wasn't going to be called and you can't hear. You shall have names to fight for your children. Most of you please. And God has a name prepared to him. Amen. There are many of them, but one of them in that first chapter that is this. I shall call his name Emmanuel.
Oh my, what kind of a name is that? What does that mean? They tell you the meaning. It means God with us.

Under a six child is born unless the son is given and the government should be upon his shoulders and his name shall be told Emmanuel or not there nobody could stand given that has that name. It started with his name to be told. Wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Didn't they know that? Well the past, some of them did. Maybe their dread is over and over again but didn't take heed to it, but it in the eighth now.
We think of that they had another name given to them that before he was born.
Another name, yes. What was that? Wasn't the firing of the fibers that where the bus or the quarter from? In Isaiah, his name is to be called Jesus.
Has that got a meaning? What does that mean? Mean to you, therefore?
With a nameless despise in this world. It's the name of the one who is nailed to Calvin's cross. It's the one whom the world tonight would get rid of if they possibly could. Why? Because the powers of darkness are opposed to him. Satan. A created being, the most beautiful perhaps of all.

Head would never have been bruised.
If he had come down from the course without dying, he would endure the Lord's heals already by the enemy.
That takes his head. That was had to be accomplished by his dying.
Why? Because death was stamped upon you.
All how pressure appears when you see a little company like this here today and like we've been seeing, I say little.
Big compared to somewhere, but still only small person, the people around even in this country right now.
But when you see the fathers and the mothers and the little children and some of them related to yourself, you know how you love them. You don't know how to tell anything. Their gear are perfect little things.
Let's think of it. Everyone of us all says she wants a little.
But you know something more? That tiniest little baby has a body, a soul, a spirit.
To be forever with the Lord.
Or forever without him.

And God has the feeling there.
All dear fathers and mothers who have little families to bring up, bring your children to Jesus. Do it now, don't wait till tomorrow.
Alleged brother in the South somewhere years ago was speaking to a young mother holding a little baby in their arms.
And he said to her, look, I said, what's the first word you want to hear from your lips of your little child?
That was a Christian mother and she told the old brother I had asked the Lord.
It's the first words I might hear from his list. Or her lips. Whichever was would be Jesus.
Jesus.
What's that mean to you? What does he mean to you?
The Remember, beloved friends, he is being one in whom God himself finds all his delight.
People think they're having a good time on earth, having a delightful time. They're not. But they're not saved. For there's no one that can ever find any true joy or any true delight without knowing Jesus Christ as the Savior, as the eternal Son of God, Emmanuel, God with us, who enters a man to exhaust and guide for man who teaches him.
We all say, have you really been to Jesus for the cleansing power? Listen to Him.
God is speaking to you tonight.
This is a landscape first in this room that has.
Jesus is not finished your heart's door.
The Spirit of God is pleading with you. Even if men would plead, even if we could all plead with you, it would be mean nothing. So we could do nothing. We could show our affection, our interest for you, but we couldn't do anything for you, only this. Maybe if we could pull out doing anything, we could point you to the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. And then it would have to be a divert that you'd realize it is God speaking and not man.
It's not man's message. This is God's message. Well, now turn over to the book of Acts chapter 5.
To find something else and.
It's most solemn to think about.
Because when Jesus came, it wasn't over the health practically, but all down through the ages that were bitter against him in one way or another all along through there. So that's our suppose one reason why he said the gates of health are not today against. That's what I build on this rock. I will build my church.
But now we find that here in this chapter, in this part, while we've been here, his work has been finished, he's been in the game, he's put away my soon. How about yours?
About yours as we go. You have to face them. Thank God you've noticed they were laid on him.
And He'll save you right now and put you in that position if you'll only believe Him as your very own Savior. That's what you do. That's what the gospel is for, The gospel of God concerning His Son. Now God had a person.
And his purchase for the budget for the soldier believes is not to save him 11 ships around here on this earth.
No, the Father's house is prepared and he's going to have everyone that has been entrusted to the Savior. He's going to have them there, for He is very Good Shepherd. He won't lose a one man can ever be plucked from his hands. And the Father brings them to them. And all that coming to me, I'll never cast them out. Never, never be cast out. But now here's something else He has told his apostles.
Father was with him on the earth before he went to the Ghost, you know.
You're going to be very popular in this world. The world loves Christians.
Wait a minute.
That isn't true, is it? That's a jarring note that spoils the whole thing.
No, but he, he told him and warned them plainly, as well as holding out something beautiful beyond next one. Think of the Apostle Paul did it well. So did you call them dinner as he was?
What happens that life at noon brighter than the sun?
And a voice calling him by name.

Oh, he found out that something real, because that one was spoken, called him. That one was spoken, called in my name.
And the Lord said I am Jesus of Nazareth.
What? Jesus of Nazareth in heaven?
Yes. Now what did he say? What did Saul say to him then? All beloved friends, have you owned it?
Lord, what will Sahami to do? And the Lord told him and he did it. He was the only Lord now, but now that we haven't time to go on that, where do you possibly think in the world and what you don't have tribulations but be a good deal. He's good here. While we're waiting for the Lord's return, it's not coming. That's why beloved things we feel free to ask God for precondition of time searching had together in the past three days. That's why we feel free to comment and to bless it to encourage us along the way.
The earth and that we may encase one another. We need one another. You can't put a member off of your body and say I don't need you. No, we need one another.
Is that really true? Well, don't crystal and you can't make a mistake. So he can settle. But now what do we find here? So I will read a few verses because of the disciples where they got put in jail, had an awful time. But you know what? Some others were praying for them. And the angels are watching over them. They're watching over you too. And what did they do? Open the prison doors and let them out. And here they go right back into the temple and begin to preach again.
But all are bad to fix that has on the Jews, the ones who want to put killer. So let's read them, just them.
Well, verse 28, Acts 5 and verse 28, No, we'll have to go back to verse 27.
When they had brought them, they kept them before the council, and the high priest asked them saying did not restrict the command you that he should not teach in this name. In what this name?
What name? What name would do that?
What's the matter with that name? It's hateful in the world as well. What is it to you?
The sweetest name that ever could be given, and the one name. Listen folks, God brought his Son into the dust of death.
What do you do that for?
Because that's where you were.
Defensive desk upon you.
You've got no way to get out of it.
But there is one on whom Death had no claim. And beloved friend, this most marvelous to think of, that before ever the foundation there to laid, He was for again to come in due time, to be LED as a lamb to the sorter, to bear your sins in His own body, and to drop them out by the shedding of His own precious blood. Well, now then they wish for claiming these things, but they got in trouble. They got in jail, in fact, but they got out. But now see what happens when they get out. Well.
Then when they brought them in verse 27, they set them before the council and the high priest.
Or the religious leader, Sure. The high priest, What did he do? He said to them.
Did not restate. They command you that he should not teach in this name.
Can we tell you not to do that? Why sometimes parents have to tell their children when they've been disabled? Didn't I tell you not to do that? Why did you disobey me?
Here, This is why I think she can put that over on the apostle, but knows the answer. Did you have any right? Did you have any authority? No. But listen, Peter Anthony.
They said something more than verse 28 did not restate these commanders that he should not teach in this name. And now notice behold.
You have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine and intent to bring this man's blood upon us. Did they intend that? No, the very opposite. They intended that for them to come and be cleansed by that precious God. That's what they were preaching, salvation to the precious brother Christ.

Oh how the reaping they having on that account. But now notice what it says here.
Peter answers now very safe.
Verse 29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said we are to obey God rather than man.
The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom he threw and hang him on the sea. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and the Savior. Notice for to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. But it's not limited to Israel, it's for you and me too. And notice we are witnesses of these things, and so is also the Holy Ghost whom God has given to them that obey him.
When they read that they were cut to the heart and took counsel to slay them, then stood up in the counselor Pharisee named D'amelio a doctor. The law. Heavy reputation among all the people and commanders to put these fossils forth a little space.
What that means, putting them forth, maybe we should. They have different thoughts to all those, and I have some different thoughts. But this man Jamala would think about right now. He was a wise man. He was the one who gave his teachers of the day. He's the one under whom the apostle Paul had gotten a lot of learning.
And now I believe he was really wise man. So what did he do when they were trying to spend it? Well, you put these men forth a little space. In other words, suppose you've been those men and you'd heard what they said and everything, and then this man said, Put these men forth alone. You'd be the man standing there. What you going to do now?
You'd have to wonder. You wouldn't know, but they didn't expect anything good. But no, here's one worldly wise man that makes a statement that perhaps the Holy Spirit made him say, maybe against his own wishes. I don't know. We're not told. But notice that power.
And then stood upon verse 34, Admiral Counsel, a Pharisee made in Camarillo, a doctor of the law, had a reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostle forth a little space, and said unto them, to the rest of them, ye men of Israel.
Take heed to yourselves. What do you intend to do? As such, in this living man, you bear careful. Look a little out, in other words.

Nobody in the world would do something like that now with this.
Once. Well, that's what the world is full of. Now, setting aside the Lord is all good man, all right, But they won't. Only as the Son of God. Oh, yes, he died. He's a martyr. No, he wasn't. He wasn't a martyr. And God's side, at least. What was he there? What was he for you?
A substitute. He died of death and atoning them. Death had no claim upon him. He voluntarily went into his own little without a love for your never dying soul. He bore the judgment. He lay in that grave, but God raised him out from among the dead. And there he is now. He's with God's right hand in the glory, waiting patiently for that moment when he can say to his loved ones, Arise, my love, and come away. But let's see just a little more here.
Well, they just do this, revoking himself to be somebody to whom? A number of men.
About 400 joined themselves, and who were slain, and all as many as obeyed him, were scattered and brought the north.

Keep this in mind, beloved him.
God will have every need to bow to Jesus.

That's not very good news for men that like to be popular, is it? No, it goes against the game. Didn't that at all. But.
We have to see men clearly. We have to learn to know that that man Christ was not only a man, not only the Messiah, nobody's eternal son of the living God who was willing to become a man in order that he could die. Like you're singing one of our own hymns for man who preaches him. It's nice when you sing it to say for me, he preaches them. But anyway, at any rate, now here's something more. Now keep in mind this that the Lord who said I'm here to build me sick.
Israel rejected me. They won't have them objecting, but I'm going to have a bride enjoy. And you, dear soul, here tonight whose sins have been forgiven.
You're going to be part of that company, yes, and swim where you may be caught up tonight. To be in the glory and to be the bride of Christ forever. He loves the church He gave me so forth. So here's this man, Dominion. Now notice what he said and listen.
The manual had something.
That everyone in this room has got right now.
What's that? I don't mean only my body, soul and fear. He had that, he told you. That's what you are made-up of.
But it has a conscience.
And so have you.
Regardless of the men of this world today, no matter how wise they may be, no matter how they may deny the truth, they're the founding God word. There's something down within that agrees with the truth that found in this word. I don't mean everything is there. No, they don't know anything but.
They have to admit that they couldn't bring about anything that is done. And this man demanding, you know the what he says here look at well, let's take verse 38 and 39 together.
And now I say unto you.
Refrain from these men and let them alone.
For if this Council or this work be of men.
It will. It will not. Maybe it might. No. No. It will come to know.
Or that's only commodious species it yes, it is the major Speaking of it, but without any doubt the Spirit of God put those words into his mouth. It's him it will come to know and furthermore look for power, but if it be of God.
And then it will come tonight.
If it be of God, if you am not, overthrow it.
Commend the men. Think today that they're going to go up and overthrow the moon.

Well, you see they want them. You pick them up and say them, afraid. You're just as helpless as a little baby. You can't come yet. He invites you to come. You have to stand with open arms, ready to receive you and pick you up and make you a child of God forever.

It's amazing, all right, What drives you through to command the people on Earth? So we've given them the being. We've given them the Earth. They lost it. He's given his son to die for them. But he does it out of love. Listen, folks.
Elsewhere we read it's appointed and the man wants to die and ask you this to judgment.
That is the day appointed when you're going to judge the world in recipes by that man whom he has ordained, was raised out to among the dead, and God commands you to come to him now that you may escape coming into judgment. It's out of love for your poor soul that God commands your people to come.
And then?
This is the last time.
That these individuals here tonight will ever be together again, just as we are.
If you ever meet you tomorrow night or a year from now, it won't be the same company. And for those who would be here, it would be a year old. But there'll be some listen.
