Sweet the words by Jesus spoken,
While on earth He used to be,
“I have loved the little children,
Suffer them to come to Me.”
Now arrayed in Heavenly glory,
On the throne of God above;
Still He calls the little children,
With the same unchanging love.
I believe Thy invitation,
Young and feeble though I be,
And to Thee I come, Lord Jesus,
Thine own little one to be.
