“J. W. A.” The three editors, Griesbach, Scholz, and Tischendorf agree in a text of Rev. 5:10,10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:10) thus, “And made them kings and priests unto our God, and they shall reign upon the earth.” When these agree as to a reading, it takes precedence of the “Received Text” from which our unrivaled translation was made. John 13:1,1Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. (John 13:1) while applying specially to the disciples, doth, most surely apply also to all who come under the head of “His own, in the world.” He loves them, not for a day, a month, or a year, merely, but right through to the end. Precious truth!
