1. The Lord will not hear me if I regard iniquity in my heart. Psalms 66:1818If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: (Psalm 66:18).

Peter tells those to whom he wrote, their souls were purified in obeying the truth, and were to love one another, with a pure heart fervently. 1 Peter 1:2222Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: (1 Peter 1:22).
12. When a Christian is not condemned in his heart, by unholy ways, then he has confidence toward God. 1 John 3:2121Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. (1 John 3:21).
