4. The word
rapture
comes from the Latin word
rapture,
and means “to snatch away”. So, as applied to Christ’s coming, it means His catching away from the earth His bride, the church.
5. It will doubtless be daytime for the saints in one part of the world, and night time for others, as one half of the earth is in darkness all the time. But no one save the Father knows the moment set. So we may expect Him day or night. (
Matt. 24:36
