21. The Lord's supper.
1 Cor. 11:26

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come. (1 Corinthians 11:26)

22. "Day of the Lord" instead of the "day of Christ."
We should never be troubled because the "day of Christ" is approaching. That is the day for which we look and long. But the "day of the Lord" is the day of awful judgment for this poor world.
23. The transfiguration. (

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. (Matthew 16:28)

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. (Matthew 17:1‑8)
.) It was a miniature picture of His future coming in glory to reign over Israel.
24. This verse refers to the ascension of Christ back to heaven, (
Acts 1:9

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. (Acts 1:9)
), but it also includes the catching up of the Church as the mystical "body of Christ."
