Strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
We can spend endless hours arguing over doctrine, the meanings of words, philosophies and many other things. But for the most part these arguments do nothing for the participants or for the spectators. How much better to read the Scriptures with an open heart so that the Lord can teach us His way. Then we can better serve Him and be a spiritual example to others.
