Armageddon and Zechariah 14

Zechariah 14

It is important to see that the Old Testament does not give us the destruction of the false prophet (Rev. 19), though the end of the beast is indicated in Daniel 7:1111I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. (Daniel 7:11); whilst the New Testament does not give us the siege of Jerusalem before the Millennium (Zech. 14) nor the destruction of the King of the North.
The reason is not far to seek. Revelation deals with the destruction of the Gentile power, of God's enemies; while Zechariah deals with the deliverance of the Jewish remnant, God's people.
