That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; (Colossians 2:2)
only (full assurance of faith, hope, and understanding). This word is commonly used to express settled peace with God, and should be the portion of every Christian. It means “putting on fully” (like a cloak or garment), or being fully satisfied.
