Be Thankful

Many of our readers, from their early days, have been taught to give thanks to God for everything they receive. It is good for us to know and realize that God is the One who gives us all things. We know that we brought nothing into the world, and that we can carry nothing out of it. So it is evident that God has given us all things. In the Bible, God has said we ought to be “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:2020Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; (Ephesians 5:20).
Whether it is little or much, it becomes us all to give God thanks for everything.
There is one gift God has given us which is greater than all else, and that is His only begotten Son. He gave Him as a Saviour for us. Have you ever thanked God for such a Saviour? He is the only Saviour, for “there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:1212Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12). He is the One who saves to the uttermost all who come unto God by Him.
