If we know the Lord Jesus as our Savior, we are risen with Christ. This means we have a new life and we are going to heaven. God has given us the power to act like a Christian. We need to set our minds to think about our Lord Jesus and do those things that give honor to Him and put out of our life those bad things that get us into trouble and bring shame to the Lord Jesus. When we act with the new life that God has given us, we will be kind to everyone. We won’t be proud; we will be humble. We will not be selfish; we will accept others the way they are and we will not expect them to do everything our way. We won’t hate those who offend us; we will forgive them. Most of all, we will love one another all the time. This is the way a person acts when his life is hid with Christ in God.
Everything we say and do should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus. Only do something if you know Jesus would approve of your actions. Ask yourself, Will this give glory to the Lord Jesus?
