Day 97 - Exodus 25, Verses 23-40

V.23-30 THE TABLE. On this, twelve freshly baked loaves of bread were placed each Sabbath. The previous week’s bread was then taken off to the courtyard of the tabernacle and Aaron and his two sons, ate them. Christ is the bread which came down from heaven (John 6:32-33, 35, 41, 48, 50-5132Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. 33For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. (John 6:32‑33)
35And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. (John 6:35)
41The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. (John 6:41)
48I am that bread of life. (John 6:48)
50This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. V.33-40 THE CANDLESTICK Made of one piece of pure gold, beaten into the shape, here described. The only source of light in the tabernacle. God is light. The only source of truth is God. The Lord Jesus Christ became a Man so that He could give us that light (John 1:1, 3-4, 8-9; 8:12; 12:461In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:3‑4)
8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. (John 1:8‑9)
12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)
46I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. (John 12:46)).
