2TI 3:2-32For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (2 Timothy 3:2‑3)
For men shall be . . . truce-breakers.
2 Timothy 3:2-32For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (2 Timothy 3:2‑3)
Divorce, strikes and lawsuits to get out of contracts are all done by people who are truce-breakers. A cease-fire is signed in a warring country. Within a short time, fighting breaks out again. Another truce is broken. And so it goes on. No one can trust anyone else’s word. As a Christian, I need to be sure that others can trust my word and rely on me to keep my promises. Another sign of the end times is truce-breaking.
