If you know the Lord Jesus as your Savior, you will want to read Ephesians 1, because there you will find a wonderful list of many of the blessings God has given to us who belong to Him. Here is a start to that list. We are:
blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ;
chosen in Him before the foundation of the world;
holy and without blame before Him in love;
predestinated (marked out beforehand) unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself;
So, whether you are from a poor or rich family, here you see that you are blessed with amazing riches for all eternity as well as for right now, by being given all spiritual blessings in heaven in Christ. Maybe you feel rejected by others, but you have been chosen and accepted by God. And so much more. There is joy in really thinking about all that God has given to us in the Lord Jesus.
