Exhortation

Search the Scriptures.  .  .  .  They are they which testify of Me.
This was the Lord’s challenge to the Jews. The Scriptures were interwoven with messages about God’s provision of His Son as the Savior. The intricacies of the Old Testament offerings and feasts spoke of Jesus. And yet the Jews did not and would not recognize their Messiah when He came. This word of the Lord is also to us today. Let us never forget to search the Scriptures because they do indeed testify of Him.
