We’re so glad you are able to make use of some of the Sunday School resources in the library! Please note that this is a work in progress. While we wanted to make the resources available to you now, we are planning to continue adding to them and working to improve them. Please check back periodically for improvements and updates!
A telling of different Bible stories, sometimes with connections made to other stories and/or the gospel. Vocabulary and syntax are fairly easy and the articles include questions at the end of each story. Good for all ages.
A telling of the Bible story, generally fairly easy to understand. The vocabulary and syntax are not too complicated and the articles include comprehension questions at the end of each story. Good for all ages.
Primarily aimed at older students (6th Grade and up), these articles are good for those who are studying the Bible by chapter. Each article (at least one for every chapter of the New Testament) contains comprehension questions that correspond directly to the lecture for that chapter.
Generally in one of four categories: Crosswords, Stories, Bible Stories, and Lectures. Crosswords and Activities can range from easy to difficult, and Bible Stories are generally aimed at a younger crowd, whereas what is termed as “Lecture” is usually an in-depth discussion of a Bible story, passage, or concept, and aimed at a slightly older crowd. The non-Bible stories range from easy to somewhat difficult to understand, but are usually on the easier side. These, however, are general guidelines. The Sunday School teacher should judge based on his/her class what might be appropriate.
Note: Many of the Messages of God’s love currently appear as PDFs, which we know can be slow to load. We plan to update these in the future so that they are easier to use.
In the format of an adult telling a child stories about the Bible and the child asking questions. While it was written to be simplistic and something that a child can understand, the vocabulary and syntax are occasionally on the more difficult side.
More of an exposition on scripture. Much more difficult vocabulary and syntax. Should be used with older, more advanced students.
