Fragment.

DID you ever hear of a creditor who longed to remit his claims―one who positively yearned to cancel all the debts of his debtors. Such an one there is―even God Himself. He is your creditor.
You are His debtor; and you are a bankrupt: you have nothing to pay.
But God delights in mercy. It will give Him deepest joy to pardon all your sins; He longs to be gracious unto yen, and would give you full and free forgiveness if you would but accept it.
Blessedly is this set forth in the precious little parable propounded by the Lord Jesus in Luke 7:41, 4241There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. 42And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? (Luke 7:41‑42). “A certain creditor had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay he frankly forgave them both.”
God says: “Come now, and let us reason together:
Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isa. 1:1818Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18)). J. T. M.
