Have You Found Your Name in the Bible?

Listen from:
A MAN in Central Africa was fond of saying he had found his name in the Bible. When asked where, he turned to 1 Timothy 1:1515This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. (1 Timothy 1:15).
“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.”
There is my name— “Sinner,” he would exclaim. And he was right, for it is the name of every man, woman, and child, for,
“All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:2323For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23).
The one who takes the place of a lost sinner, and accepts the Lord Jesus as the only Saviour, becomes “a sinner saved by grace,” or, to use the Bible term, “a saint” (Phil. 4:2121Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you. (Philippians 4:21)), that is, one set apart for God.
Have you found your name in the Bible? If not, turn to 1 Timothy 1:15,15This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. (1 Timothy 1:15) put in your name instead of the word “sinners,” accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour, and be saved.
