Listen from:
After Elisha died there were many kings who ruled over the tribe of Judah. Many of these kings were good kings who feared the Lord. We are going to visit some of them. The first one was a good king named Hezekiah who showed that he loved Jehovah by the things that he did after he began to rule.
The first thing that Hezekiah did was to get rid of all the idols that the people were worshipping. Shortly after this a wicked king named Sennacherib carried away all the ten rebellious tribes of Israel. After this he came to attack the tribe of Judah over which Hezekiah was ruling.
This wicked king sent a terrible letter threatening the people and their king. The letter told the people not to trust in Jehovah or in Hezekiah because they could not deliver or protect the tribe of Judah. The letter also told a lie, for it said that the wicked Sennacherib would take the people to a better land than the one God had given them.
