Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.
A big hit song by Frank Sinatra has this line several times, “I did it my way.” Sinatra thinks a lot of himself and his accomplishments. As Christians, however, our confidence must be in God. To think that we are self-sufficient is the deceit of Satan. God is the source of all our blessings, and we should always try to live our lives His way.
