Thank God for His mercies, for blessings like these,
The grain from the fields, and the fruit from the trees.
“The Lord is so good!” We’ll praise Him, each one,
For all that He is and for all He has done.
“We’ll thank Him,” said Daddy, “for liberties dear,
So that we can worship the Lord without fear.
“And thank Him we must for the gift of His love,
The Saviour of sinners sent down from above.”
“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift
Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise... unto our God: Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
