Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. (1 Corinthians 2:13)
). All Scripture is given by inspiration of God (
2 Tim. 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16)
). It does not follow, however, that men were inspired to utter the words, or to do the acts, that the holy men of old were inspired to
record,
otherwise every species of wickedness would be justified. It is the record itself that is inspired, not necessarily the words or facts recorded.
