JESUS IS LIFE! when all within the heart
Is cold and desolate and prone to die;
Jesus is Light! when clouds obscure the Sun,
And mists of sin and doubt hang heavily;
Jesus is Love! when we have none to give;
And Pity measureless to those who fall;
Jesus is Heaven! to the longing soul;
Jesus is ' First and Last,' and All in All.'
