The difficulty of arriving at a sure rendering of verse 33 is great, from the ambiguity of the terms. Some take the Hebrew word for "noise" as God’s noise, not the clouds; others as his will or his friend. Moreover does the word for "store" mean possession, store, or cattle? Hence the last clause is by many taken as "the cattle even (announce) him uprising;" for as the word for "wrath" may mean, "also", "even", or "wrath," so it is a question whether the last word means "a rising up" or "perversity."
