Some time after the godly king Hezekiah had passed away God allowed another very good king to reign over Judah. This king’s name was Josiah. There are some very interesting things that we learn about Josiah. The first is that he was only 8 years old when he began to reign in Jerusalem. Perhaps some of you reading this are 8 years old.
The next thing we read is that he did that “which was right in the sight of the Lord.” What a wonderful thing to be able to say about someone. Josiah showed at a very early age that he loved the Lord and wanted to obey and please Him.
