And I saw the dead . . . stand before God . . . and the dead were judged.
This is the final judgment. This is the end of the life of a person who didn’t believe in Jesus. He’ll believe then. Standing before the great white throne he will have to bow the knee to Jesus and proclaim Him as Lord. But what an awful end - cast out of God’s presence forever. “Depart from me ye cursed” will be the last words that the unbeliever will hear. Don’t be one of them. Accept Jesus as your Saviour today.
