There is an astonishing lack of prayer among many Christians, lint they are stunted in their growth when they allow cares and business to swallow up the Lord’s portion. “Watch and pray that ye enter not into temptation;” the unguarded soul falls an easy prey to the world and Satan’s temptations (to self-confidence and giving way to the flesh); grace may use the fall, of course, for blessing in the end but how much better to have walked instructed by God’s Word.
