And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.

¹²And thou say, How have I hated instruction,{HR}And my heart despised reproof;
¹³And I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers,{HR}Nor inclined mine ear to those that instructed me! (Prov. 5:3‑13)

²³Till an arrow strike through his liver,{HR}As a bird hasteth to the snare,{HR}And knoweth not that [it is] for its life.
²⁴And now, sons, hearken to me,{HR}And attend to the words of my mouth.
²⁵Let not thy heart decline to her ways;{HR}Go not astray in her paths:
²⁶For she hath cast down many wounded;{HR}And all slain by her are strong.
²⁷Her house [is] the way to Sheol,{HR}Going down to the chambers of death. (Prov. 7:10‑27)
