Light

"BRING it into the light," we say, when we have to decide on the real character of that which is under our eye,” this place is too dark for us to judge as to its actual nature and worth." So may we say of our work for God, or of our ways one with another, "Bring it into the light." No right estimate of what we are, or of what we do, can be formed in a dark place. As Christians, we are called to shun the dark place, as well as dark deeds, dark words, and dark thoughts. "God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all; and if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin." The only place to judge rightly of what we are and what we do is the light.
