M-A-N-Y”

Lady Huntington was a Christian well known to others during the time of the revival that swept England in the nineteenth century. She was once asked how she, one of the country's noblewomen, had been converted. She replied: "By one letter.”
"How is that? By one letter?”
"Yes," she answered. "In God's Word, 1 Cor. 1:2626For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: (1 Corinthians 1:26), it says: 'Not many noble are called.' That letter m saved my soul; for if He had said, 'Not any noble,' I must have been damned. So God blessed the little letter m before a-n-y to the salvation of my soul.”
