Man’s Greatest Need

A man may lack liberty, and yet be happy; a man may lack food, and yet be content; a man may lack clothing, and yet be comfortable; but he that lacks salvation, lacks everything that can do him good, in this life and the next. Nothing worse can be imagined, than to be without hope and without God, in this world and the one to come. "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:33Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)).
