In Bible sense, food of any kind

(Gen. 1:29²⁹And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. (Genesis 1:29); Lev. 2; 6:14-23; Matt. 15:37³⁷And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. (Matthew 15:37); Luke 24:41⁴¹And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? (Luke 24:41)).
