The cup which My Father hath given Me, shall I not drink it?
When I was 33 years old, I was struck that this was the age of Jesus when He was crucified. At 33 it seems that so much of life is still ahead. He was truly cut off in the midst of His days. Many people are upset with their lot in life: their national origin, their physical appearance, their inabilities, or a handicap or disease. We might forget that all that we have and are is part of the cup which the Father hath given us. Shall we not drink it? The issues of life become clear when we bring the Lord into the picture.
