1CH 14:10¹⁰And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the Lord said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand. (1 Chronicles 14:10)

And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up? . . . And the Lord said unto him, Go up.

David knew the Lord too well to do anything without asking Him first. Perhaps we should say that David knew his own heart and that it was foolish to not ask the Lord for guidance. We can learn from David here and ask the Lord for His guidance in every step. Ask Him about college, about a career, about a wife or a husband. He will guide you right - if you let Him.
