Riches

He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.
The pleasures and drinks of this world cost lots of money and there is no return on investment. It costs $30 for one person to get into Disneyworld or other places like that. Sure, you have some fun for a day, but at the end of the day you’re $30 poorer. But when you accept the free gift of God’s love, the Lord Jesus Christ, and live to please Him, it costs you nothing. Instead, you become an heir to all the glories of heaven. You start to build up treasures in heaven, treasures which do not lose their value. It’s so much more sensible to invest in the Bank of Heaven, than to spend, spend, spend for things of the world which will all pass away.
