God hath made . . . Jesus . . . both Lord and Christ.
God is completely satisfied with the work that His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, did at Calvary. Because Jesus was willing to bear the punishment for our sins and go into death as a result, God has highly exalted Him and given Him a name that is above every name. Now Jesus has been exalted to the highest place in heaven. He has been made both Lord and Christ. Today it is our privilege to spend a little time remembering what it cost for Jesus to become obedient unto death.
