Lord, Lord, open to us.
There are many today who use the Lord’s name as if they believe in Him when in fact they don’t. Those in our verse begged the Lord to open the door. They professed Him by name, but they didn’t believe in Him in their hearts. Don’t be a pretender, young person. It is easy to put on a front and act and say the right things. Only God knows your heart. He knows if you really do love the Lord or not. Don’t be caught outside heaven’s closed door. No amount of calling the Lord then will make Him open up.
