He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust.
We are not only protected by the Lord’s power, but we enjoy His care for us. His wings would speak to us of safety in His strength. His feathers would tell us of His special provision and care. We have house wrens in a small nest attached to our back porch. We watch them flying back and forth bringing food. One day a sparrow was trying to get too close to the nest. The male wren (quite a bit smaller) attacked the sparrow until it left. The Lord’s care is like that. He won’t let anything harm us.
