QUESTION: In John 10:36³⁶Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? (John 10:36) Jesus said, "I said, I am the Son of God." Is that identical to saying "I am God?”

ANSWER: Verse 30 clearly answers this where Jesus says, "I and My Father are one." God the Father and God the Son are both God. We also include God the Holy Spirit, and so believe in the Trinity.
