The angels had to remind the disciples what the Lord had said earlier. When we get confused or bothered by something, do we remember the Word of God? To remember God’s Word you have to have read it and known it before. The Scriptures, when we remember them and think about them during the day, can excite us, comfort us, teach us, correct us, keep us safe from evil. Make it a habit to recall verses as you go through the day. For example, when someone does something good, think of Philippians 4:88Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8). When evil tempts you, think of Proverbs 1:1010My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. (Proverbs 1:10).
