2 Corinthians 11:2

WRITING to the Corinthian church Paul says, “I have espoused you as a chaste virgin unto Christ.”
It is after we enter with Him into the Father’s house that the marriage of the Lamb will take place. The Church will be displayed in robes of glory and beauty as the Bride of the Lamb. Saints of all ages will share the felicity of the marriage supper which speaks of joyous fellowship in which all heavenly saints participate, but the center of that scene of bliss will be He who loved the Church and gave Himself for it.

But her dear bridegrooms face;
I will not gaze at glory
But on my King of grace;
Not at the crown He giveth.
But on His pierced hand;
The Lamb is all the glory
Of Immanuel’s land.”
