And ye know that with all my power I have served your father.
Jacob served his father-in-law with everything that he had. He did everything in his power to be a good servant. But his service wasn’t appreciated. When we serve the Lord, however, He appreciates everything we do for Him - no matter how insignificant it may seem to us. Even a cup of cold water given in His name will be rewarded. We have a Master who is really worth serving.
