Stopping the Clock

Narrator: Chris Genthree
Listen from:
A LITTLE girl, whose mother had gone out, was left to do some work in the house, but finding playmates at the door, she spent the time at skipping rope. Finding she was unprepared for her mother’s return, she got on a chair and put back the hands of the clock an hour. But the time went on all the same. So does the day of salvation go by while sinners trifle it away, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Cor. 6:22(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) (2 Corinthians 6:2).
