Born in Dublin in the year 1795, John Gifford Bellett loved the Lord Jesus Christ. After his formal education at Trinity College, Dublin, he read for the Bar in London, but soon habituated himself to the service of the Lord Jesus Christ and the care of the children of God. His ministry has been cherished for over 150 years for its unction and heartfelt spiritual content.
