The Glory of That Light

 
Sir Isaac Newton, anxious to solve a certain optical problem, gazed intently at the sun in its noonday splendor. When he had finished his observations, he returned home, only to see the sun wherever he looked.
When Saul of Tarsus was traveling the Damascus road, he saw a light above the brightness of the sun (Acts 26:1313At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. (Acts 26:13)), and he could not see for the glory of that light (Acts 22:1111And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
