334. Through the Love of God Our Savior

8,4,8,4,8,8,8,4.
by M. Bowley
1
Through the love of God our Savior,

All will be well;

Free and changeless is His favor,

All, all is well.

Precious is the blood that healed us,

Perfect is the grace that sealed us,

Strong the hand stretched forth to shield us,

All must be well.
2
Though we pass through tribulation,

All will be well;

Ours is such a full salvation,

All, all is well.

Happy still in God confiding;

Fruitful, if in Christ abiding;

Holy, through the Spirit’s guiding:

All must be well.
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
“And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.” (Hebrews 5:9)
“He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.” (Proverbs 16:20)
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.” (John 16:13)
3
We expect a bright tomorrow;

All will be well.

Faith can sing through days of sorrow,

All, all is well.

On our Father’s love relying,

Jesus every need supplying;

Or in living, or in dying,

All must be well.
“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5)
“As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.” (2 Corinthians 6:10)
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.” (1 John 3:1)
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
“According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.” (Philippians 1:20)
