For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: (1 Corinthians 11:23)
in our authorized English Bible is perfectly correct, and the passage distinctly teaches us that the apostle did not receive his instructions as to the Lord's Supper from the twelve, but immediately from the risen and glorified, Lord Himself. A most important fact.
