And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. (Luke 23:43)
. We believe the thief was with Jesus, in Paradise, that very day. Our Lord’s words to Mary do not, in any wise, contradict this. He had not, in body, ascended to His Father, but He had said, “Father, into Thy hands I commend my spirit.”
