All of Mankind

All of mankind are sinners, because they have disobeyed God. No created being could pay the penalty for his own sin, much less for others. Yet God has said, "the wages of sin is death." Rom. 6:2323For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23).
Only the death of a Perfect One could satisfy the demands of God's justice. And God's love provided that perfect One: The Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus died in our place to give us His eternal life. "Christ... once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust." 1 Peter 3:1818For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: (1 Peter 3:18).
